# We’re Here, San Diego!

Sidework has always been buoyed by the local startup community (quick shoutouts to [Create-X](https://create-x.gatech.edu/) in Atlanta and [HAX](https://hax.co/) in China), so [**last week’s piece in the San Diego Business Journal**](https://www.sdbj.com/technology/sidework-attracts-thirsty-investors/) is incredibly important to me, personally.

The global startup community has mentored us regarding recruitment, product market fit, pricing - everything. More broadly, they’ve helped me answer an essential question: _“Am I doing OK?”_
